Reporting To: Land Manager – Mandsaur / Project Team, Indore

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits and surveys to identify and verify land parcels required for renewable energy projects.

• Identify and record relevant survey numbers, parcel boundaries, access routes, and adjoining land parcels.

• Measure and verify land areas and prepare parcel-wise survey information for project requirements.

• Support identification of land required for WTG footprints, aerial/swept areas, crane areas, pathways, access routes, bellmouths, and related project infrastructure.

• Cross-check field conditions with available land records, maps, village information, and documentation provided by the land team.

• Coordinate with farmers/landowners during field surveys and record relevant site-level information.

• Prepare clear survey notes, measurements, photographs, location details, and parcel-wise status reports.

• Support preparation and updating of land parcel maps and survey trackers using appropriate digital mapping/GIS tools where available.

• Identify physical constraints such as existing structures, roads, water bodies, transmission lines, trees, terrain conditions, access limitations, or other site constraints and report them to the project team.

• Coordinate with the Land Manager and Legal team to resolve discrepancies between ground conditions, land records, and documentation.

• Maintain accurate records of completed and pending surveys and ensure timely submission of survey data to the Indore office.

• Support re-surveys and verification visits wherever required during the land development and project execution process.

• Maintain professional conduct while interacting with landowners, farmers, local stakeholders, and project representatives.

The incumbent is expected to maintain the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and discretion while handling sensitive information.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, Geography, or a related discipline.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in land surveying, infrastructure, renewable energy, construction, real estate, or land development.

• Experience with renewable energy land surveys, route surveys, parcel mapping, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.

• Working knowledge of GPS/GNSS-based field measurements and basic mapping practices will be preferred.

• Willingness to undertake extensive field travel across villages and project locations in and around Mandsaur.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on ability to conduct accurate field measurements and maintain survey records.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Google Earth, QGIS, GIS applications, or similar mapping tools will be an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in field information.

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work independently in field conditions and meet reporting timelines.

• Fluency in Hindi and familiarity with local geography will be preferred.
