Accountant - Indore (MP)
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial and statutory requirements of Winderra.
The role will involve bookkeeping, invoicing, vendor and client accounting, bank reconciliations, GST and TDS compliance, payment processing and preparation of financial reports. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and be comfortable taking ownership of routine accounting activities in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and accounting records.
- Record purchase, sales, expense, receipt and payment transactions accurately.
- Prepare and process client invoices, debit notes, credit notes and related documentation.
- Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records and follow up on outstanding items.
- Perform regular bank, ledger and vendor reconciliations.
- Prepare payment requests and coordinate with management for timely vendor and statutory payments.
- Handle GST-related accounting, including invoice reconciliation, input tax credit tracking and coordination for GST returns.
- Calculate and coordinate TDS deductions, payments and return-related requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for GST, TDS and other statutory records.
- Coordinate with the company's Chartered Accountant and external consultants for accounting and statutory matters.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements, expense reports and management MIS.
- Monitor project-wise and business-wise expenses and maintain supporting documentation.
- Verify vendor invoices, bills and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Maintain records of advances, reimbursements and employee expenses.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support statutory audit, tax audit and other financial audits by providing required records and documentation.
- Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and maintained in an organised manner.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or a related field. CA Inter/CA/CMA candidates may also be considered.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Practical knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
- Experience with Tally Prime or other accounting software.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good understanding of bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Ability to maintain proper documentation and meet statutory deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting activities.
